What I’m reading now

Updated: Mar 4, 2019

Alfred Hitchcock's Behind the Death Ball is a collection of carefully chosen short stories and novelettes filled with terror, and suspense. Hitchcock has once again put together a masterpiece written by a number of talented writers.

As a huge Alfred Hitchcock fan, this is among a few of my favorite books he has created. It's not as good as Stories that go Bump in the Night or Stories that Scared even Me.

“Any artist is only as good as his audience, and that master orchestrator of terror, Alfred Hitchcock, is no exception.”

Alfred Hitchcock books are a rare find. I either find used copies online or at an independent bookstore that sales old used books. When I do come across one of these rare jewels, I thank my lucky stars.

Some notable stories worth mentioning are Voodoo Doll by Henry Slesar, A Friendly Exorcise by Talmage Powell, and Perfect Shot by Lawrence Treat.

It's worth the time

Reading each story has been truly delightful and I highly recommend it. If suspense, murder, horror is what you crave, you will find it in this book.
